Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone!  I’ll still probably make a few posts today in between all the activities.  Anyways, here are some Christmas-related picture while celebrating the holidays with family and friends.  While some of them aren’t the size for full-screen wallpaper, they are still cute pictures nonetheless.

Fun-Filled Film Friday 3: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st

It’s Friday again!  Not only is today Fun-Filled Film Friday, but today is also Christmas Eve!  As much as I wanted to find a Christmas-related movie, I just couldn’t find one in time.  Instead, I decided to watch “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st,” a 2010 movie adaption of the anime series.

Boredom

While I love holiday breaks because I don’t have to deal with schoolwork, I hate that I always end up bored.  Usually I can watch a 13-episode series in a few hours, but I always have to have a break in between some episodes.  What do I do in between episodes?  Well that’s a good question.

Favorite Anime Songs of the 2010 Fall Season

I absolutely cannot live without music!  Once I hear a song I like, I have to get it in some way or another.  Most of the songs I have are in Japanese.  I have 20GB of J-Music, 5GB of everything else.  After I collected 10GB of music, I decided that I should just put it all on an external hard drive.  As for my iPod, which has only 8GB, I basically switch around my playlists depending on the mood I’m in before I go somewhere.  Anyways, here’s a Top 10 list of my favorite anime songs of the 2010 fall season.

Hunger for Anime

For some reason, I woke up with a strong urge to bake or cook something special.  I went online and tried to look for something that I could make, but didn’t find anything in particular.  I didn’t feel like eating afterwards so I’m pretty hungry now.  I decided to compile a few wallpaper featuring food in some way or another to try to ease my pain.

MidnightMisery’s First Post

Hi, my name is MidnightMisery.  A few posts ago, ScarletFlash19 mentioned that he started watching Toradora with me.  Honestly, I’m not an avid fan of anime.  I would watch animes such as Naruto and Bleach, but I would lose interest.  I did, however, like an anime called D.N.Angel.  My friend introduced the series to me when I was in 8th grade, and I truly enjoyed it.  I tried watching the anime through Youtube, but because some episodes were missing, I decided to quit on the series.

Thoughts on The Sacred Blacksmith

The Sacred Blacksmith aired in the fall of 2009, but I never got around to watch it.  I thought that I could start the series, finish it today, and write a little review about it.  Well, that wasn’t the case.  Let’s just say that I barely got past the first episode.

A Mighty List of Anime

Today, someone asked me to name all the anime series that I’ve ever watched thinking that I’d name only mainstream series such as Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece.  I hardly watch any mainstream series and I watch dozens of others.  As much as I wanted to show off all the series that I’ve watched, I lost track after naming a dozen or so series.  To show how experienced I am in the anime field, I’ve decided to compile a huge, complete list.

Japanese Mythology

For some reason, I’ve become interested in Japanese mythology; however, I really don’t know where to start.  I found a website which has a few different versions of ancient scriptures, so I’ll probably be looking through those.  Is anyone else interested in Japanese mythology?  Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can start or where I can look?
